Kuspuk Educators Attend Northwest PBIS Conference 2026

person

Kuspuk School District was proudly represented at the 2026 Northwest PBIS Conference held April 29–May 1, 2026, at the Spokane Convention Center in Spokane, Washington. Centered on the theme “Rooted in Relationships: Building Community for Sustainable PBIS,” the conference brought together educators and leaders dedicated to fostering positive school climates through evidence-based behavioral supports.

Participation in this conference provided district staff with valuable opportunities to deepen their understanding of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), explore innovative strategies, and collaborate with educators from across the region. Sessions emphasized the critical role of relationships in building sustainable systems that support both student behavior and academic success.

Through this experience, Kuspuk School District continues to invest in strengthening school-wide PBIS frameworks that promote safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments. The knowledge and strategies gained will be shared across schools to enhance student engagement, reinforce positive behaviors, and support overall student well-being.

This ongoing commitment reflects the district’s mission to ensure that every student thrives in a culture grounded in respect, connection, and collaboration.
