Hi, my name is Dale Ebcas, and I’m the K–2 Special Education Teacher and Lead Teacher at Joseph and Olinga Gregory Elementary School. I also coordinate and coach Unified Sports for our district, including Bowling, Floor Hockey, Basketball, and Track & Field, and I help with our school media efforts. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a major in Special Education from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines, have completed the academic requirements for a Master’s in Special Education, and am a graduate of the Alaska Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) Program under the University of Alaska Anchorage Center for Human Development. Over the past 10 years in education, I have served as an Elementary School Teacher (K–6), ABA Therapist, K–12 Special Education Teacher, School Coordinator, and National Lecturer for the Licensure Examination for Teachers in the Philippines—experiences that have shaped my current role as a Special Education Teacher and Lead Teacher. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, hiking, biking, and camping.
