I am honored to serve as the new Tribal and Community Liaison for the Kuspuk School District. In this role, my primary goal is to strengthen communication, collaboration, and coordination between district administrators and the Tribal Councils we serve. This position emphasizes building meaningful connections with the broader community, including families, youth, elders, local businesses, tribal organizations, and partner agencies. It involves developing relationships and fostering active tribal involvement in school development so our work reflects and upholds the values, needs, and voices of our communities. As a lifelong resident of Aniak, I have deep roots in the people and places we serve. I’ve been happily married to my wife, Martha, for 36 years, and together we have two wonderful children—Patrick, Wayne, Riley—and our daughter Skye. We are also proud grandparents of six grandchildren, with two more on the way.
