Hi, my name is Mark Aushdal. I started working for the Kuspuk School District in 1979 as a substitute in special education, then became a custodian at Kalskag Schools for 10 years. After a short break of about five years to attend Bible School, I returned in 1996 as a one-on-one aide supporting special education students from 5th through 12th grade. Later, I continued as an aide/maintenance staff member, and eventually became a full-time maintenance staff member at George Morgan Sr. High School. I’m proud to say I’ve dedicated 41 years to supporting our students, staff, and schools — and this coming January, I’ll be celebrating 42 years of service.
