Hello! My name is Anastasia Holmberg “Quana”, and I am the Student Success Coach at Kalskag. I graduated from George Morgan Sr. High School in Kalskag in 1991 and earned my BA in Elementary Education from Heritage University in Toppenish, Washington, in 1997. My teaching career includes working with the Job Corps and serving in various positions within the Kuspuk School District from 2000–2002 and 2004–2005. I received my Alaska Teaching Certificate in 2005 and have been teaching primary grades continuously since 2006. My dedication to education was deeply inspired by my son, Tomas. I live in Lower Kalskag with my family, and my Yup’ik heritage continues to guide my commitment to education and my passion for supporting students.
