Greetings Communities of Kuspuk School District.
I am honored and humbled to begin serving as the Chief School Administrator for the Kuspuk School District. I have been hired to serve as an “interim superintendent” as the school board searches for a new Superintendent during the coming school year.
Having had the privilege of working alongside the incredible students, staff, families, School Board, and communities of Kuspuk over the years, I have developed a deep appreciation for the unique strengths, traditions, and resilience that make our district so special. It is a true honor to continue this journey in this transitional leadership role.
Education is about more than academics—it's about building relationships, creating opportunities, and helping every student discover their potential. As Chief School Administrator, I am committed to working collaboratively with our educators, support staff, families, tribal leaders, and community partners to ensure every student receives a high-quality education while honoring the cultures, languages, and values of the communities we serve.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to the Kuspuk School Board for placing their trust and confidence in me. I also want to thank my colleagues, mentors, and family for their encouragement and support throughout my 30 year career.
As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, I look forward to listening, learning, and working together. I believe that by building strong partnerships and maintaining a student-centered focus, we can continue to provide meaningful educational opportunities that prepare our students for success while celebrating who they are and where they come from.
