Exciting Opportunity: Hunter Education Course for Kuspuk Students

🎯 Hunter Education Course – Spring 2026 🦌

Aniak School is looking for students in Grades 6–12 who may be interested in completing a Hunter Education Course.

📌 Course Components:

• Completion of required online instruction (approximately 6–8 hours) covering hunter responsibility, firearm safety, wildlife conservation, and ethical decision-making
• In-Person Field Day (May 2026)
– Includes hands-on safety instruction and live-fire practice with a .22 caliber firearm
– All firearm activities will be conducted under the direct supervision of certified Hunter Education instructors
– Strict safety protocols will be followed at all times

🎒 Upon completion of the full course, students will receive or use a hunter safety equipment bag, which may include items such as:
• Game bags
• Gun lock
• First aid kit
• Headlamp
