  • Successful Groundschool Program
     

    Thirteen Students Successfully completed the Kuskokwim Sky Riders Ground School Program and received 4 credits at UAF.  Eight Students successfully passed the F.A.A. Ground School Test.  Congratulations to all.

  • Marissa Abarca - Yup'ik Spelling Bee 2nd place
    Congratulations to Marissa Abarca and coach Julia Dorris for placing second in the State Yup'ik Spelling Bee!

    All eleven students passed the State Certification Test for EMT I during the 2013 Advanced Camp Kick Ash.

  • Spirit of Youth Award- Gusty Michael School
    The student body of Gusty Michael School was nominated for the Spirit of Youth award for Service to Community and Peers for the general store they run in Stony River.  They were then unanimously selected by a group of their peers for a Government and Business award.  Eric Gusty and Debi Rubera will go to Anchorage for an awards banquet on April 6th to receive the award and a $500 grant to make improvements to the store.
